Meera y Patrick decidieron casarse mientras hacían un voluntariado en Sri Lanka, país de origen de la familia de ella donde fueron para descubrir la esencia y tradiciones de sus antepasados.
La pareja quería una boda sencilla y divertida, en una ciudad diferente a la suya (Londres); un sitio único donde el clima fuera caluroso y pudieran disfrutar de una mágica cena de verano con sus amigos y familiares más cercanos. Y ese lugar, para ellos, fue la Costa Brava.
Para ellos, encontramos una casa rural de la zona que conservaba intacta la esencia de los tiempos en los que era un antiguo molino. Allí, la novia se preparó vistiéndose con un sari en color blanco con detalles en tonos plata, que contrastaba con su tez morena y su look moderno. Mientras tanto, el novio disfrutaba del buen clima con sus amigos en la piscina de una casa cercana.
La ceremonia se celebró en una pequeña iglesia de la zona. Rodeados de antiguas paredes de piedra y un interior muy natural y acogedor, los novios se dieron el “sí quiero” junto a sus amigos y familiares, que al salir los recibieron con una lluvia de confetti de colores.
Ya recién casados, los novios disfrutaron de una celebración al aire libre. El sol brillaba en el cielo, los árboles refrescaban el ambiente y la comida en tonos mediterráneos hicieron las delicias de los invitados.
Al caer la noche, encendimos las guirnaldas de luz y las largas mesas que decoramos con hojas tropicales, flores de colores vivos y velas dieron la bienvenida a familiares y amigos. Un ambiente cálido y un entorno inigualable enmarcaron una noche llena de emotivos discursos, sonrisas y lágrimas y, sobre todo, mucha fiesta!

Meera and Patrick decided to get married while they were volunteering in Sri Lanka, country of origin of her family, where they were to discover the essence and traditions of their ancestors.
The couple dreamed about a simple and fun wedding abroad; one place where the weather was hot and could enjoy a magical summer dinner with friends and family. And for them the right spot was the Costa Brava in Catalonia.
For the occasion, we found a rural house that kept intact the essence of the times when it was an old mill, the bride was getting ready on a white sari with silver accents which contrasted with her dark skin and modern look. Meanwhile, the groom was enjoying the sunny weather with his friends at the pool of a nearby house.
The ceremony was held in a small church in the area. Surrounded by old stone walls and a very natural and cozy interior, the couple take their vows with their friends and relatives, who received them with a shower of colorful confetti. As newlyweds, the couple enjoyed an outdoor celebration. The sun shone in the sky, trees shades cooled the atmosphere and the guests enjoyed a mediterranean tasty cocktail.
At nightfall, the string lights lit up the sky and long tables that we decorated with tropical leaves, colorful flowers and candles welcomed friends and family. A warm atmosphere and a unique environment framed a night of emotional speeches, laughs and tears and, above all, lots of fun!
